Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete mixers under supervision.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled laborers, electricians, and framers by performing general tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime if needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
