Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on job sites, including loading, unloading, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as digging, cleaning, and preparing surfaces.
- Operate power tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and levels, under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and waste.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans when necessary.
- Load and unload construction trucks and distribute materials to designated areas.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
