Responsibilities
- Operate Construction Equipment: Safely handle and operate basic construction machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation tasks including digging, tamping, and cleaning work areas.
- Support Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic construction plans and drawings to understand project requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a laborer or general construction worker is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods outdoors.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as project needs arise.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and strong work ethic.
