Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, painters) with various tasks.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, waste disposal, and tool organization.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely according to protocols.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety plans at all times.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and kneeling.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not always required.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Houston and Florida job sites.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
