Responsibilities
- Assist with daily site preparation, cleanup, and material organization.
- Load and unload building materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in layout tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly over long periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Experience in general construction or labor is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
