Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with basic tasks and manual labor.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision after training.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets company and client standards.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with the crew and project managers to coordinate tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Work Ethic: Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude towards working in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
