Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for use.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance duties.
- Follow all safety protocols and company regulations.
- Measure and cut materials according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
- Help in digging trenches, pouring concrete, or preparing foundations.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 50+ pounds regularly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for safety signs and instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for long hours.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
