Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily site operations and tasks.
- Perform manual labor duties including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and securing materials.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and deliver them to designated areas.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and project managers.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior construction experience is necessary; we provide full training.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and follow safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts (40 hours/week) and potential overtime.
- ID: Must be able to provide valid government-issued ID for I-9 verification.
