Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction machinery, including forklifts, jackhammers, and tampers.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris and hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Measure, cut, and fit building materials such as lumber, drywall, and concrete.
- Perform physical labor in various weather conditions and terrains.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work on your feet for long shifts.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and quantities accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous construction experience is preferred but not required for eager learners.
