Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials on construction sites.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Ensure the work site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize storage areas efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for safety instructions and work orders.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
