Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials on-site.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under the supervision of a foreman.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and deliver them to the work area.
- Follow all verbal and written instructions from project managers and supervisors.
- Perform site preparation and cleanup duties as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including standing, walking, and bending.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
