Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and preparing areas, removing debris, and setting up work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other trades in various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, raking, and removing trash regularly.
- Basic Measurements: Measure, cut, and assist in the assembly of basic building components.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Work Ethic: A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow workers.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred (or ability to obtain one).
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with no experience.
