Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including carpentry, masonry, and general site preparation.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, and compressors safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for everyone.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the job site, ensuring a tidy workspace.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials (wood, metal, concrete) as directed by the project manager.
- Adhere to project schedules and timelines to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating material quantities.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required for entry-level roles.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
