Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall, and basic carpentry.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up barricades.
- Dig trenches, foundations, and holes as directed by the foreman.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Perform minor site cleanup and general labor tasks to ensure project progress.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
