Responsibilities
- Assist with various on-site tasks: Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with daily operations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on the job site.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized workspace for the team.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and tools (e.g., power drills, saws, forklifts) under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Transportation: Transport heavy materials to and from the work area using dollies or hand trucks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Work History: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team setting.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
