Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely transport lumber, bricks, and other construction materials to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, and prepare work areas to ensure a safe environment for the crew.
- Tool Assistance: Operate power tools and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen to complete tasks efficiently.
- Assist with General Construction: Help with framing, drywall, painting, or cleanup duties as assigned by the foreman.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Work Ethic: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours including weekends if needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
