Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, clearing debris, and leveling the ground.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under the supervision of certified professionals.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Trade Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, and basic carpentry.
- Measurement: Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure project accuracy.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong drive to learn the construction trade.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for long hours, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic Math: Comfort with basic measurements and arithmetic.
- Safety Conscious: Understanding of safety guidelines or a willingness to undergo safety training immediately.
- Reliability: Ability to arrive on time and work scheduled shifts consistently.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
