Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including digging, mixing materials, and cleaning work sites.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and move them to designated work areas.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on uneven terrain.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of safety guidelines is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
