Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground to ensure proper foundation work.
- General Labor Support: Perform general construction tasks including mixing concrete, cleaning work areas, and assisting skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Tool Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and store tools and equipment properly after use to ensure longevity and readiness for the next shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience as a construction laborer or general helper is preferred; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions from foremen and communicate effectively with the team to ensure project efficiency.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid driver's license.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
