Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately measure construction materials (lumber, concrete, drywall) for the team.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, finishing, and general site preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and trash regularly.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and project instructions precisely.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
