Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers).
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on the job site.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not always required.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Tools: Willingness to provide own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.).
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
