Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (lumber, concrete, tools) to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Availability: Flexible availability to work part-time hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain a clean work area.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
