Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily construction tasks and site preparation.
- Operate heavy machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, ensuring the job site remains clean and organized.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and technical diagrams.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and hauling materials as required.
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders and other team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
