Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material preparation to assist skilled tradespeople on construction sites in Memphis and Ohio.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Assist Trades: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters by performing general labor tasks as directed by the project supervisor.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors, with proper training.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and a strong desire to learn the construction trade.
- Experience: Previous experience as a laborer, helper, or in the military is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
