Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare construction sites by digging trenches, pouring concrete, and removing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and generators.
- Skilled Trade Support: Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with daily tasks and project execution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is highly preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand basic instructions and blueprints.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople and supervisors.
