Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools (under supervision) such as generators, pressure washers, and air compressors.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, by carrying supplies and performing basic tasks.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret basic blueprints and follow project instructions from foremen.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We value attitude and work ethic over experience. On-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing on uneven terrain.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Team Player: Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and follow directions from supervisors.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
