Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with daily tasks and project setups.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of a foreman.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Support demolition and renovation activities as directed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but experience is not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and rough terrain.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand a tape measure.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Valid state-issued ID or driver's license required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
