Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific safety rules at all times.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to be trained in construction techniques and safety practices.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all roles).
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
