Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with various tasks and operations.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by cleaning debris and organizing tools after use.
- Physical Duties: Perform basic digging, tamping, cleaning, and general labor tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not necessary for this entry-level position.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn new skills on the job.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
