Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper techniques
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with tasks
- Operate basic tools (shovels, saws, drills) under supervision
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and instructions
- Maintain organized work areas and dispose of waste properly
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Memphis
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Team player with strong work ethic and punctuality
