Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks per blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance on all job sites
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless workflow
- Document progress and report site irregularities promptly
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Class B CDL preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly in outdoor conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Mesa city construction codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
