Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Perform general site preparation, including digging, shoveling, and clearing debris to prepare for construction activities.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (wood, steel, concrete) to and from the job site using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Tool Operation: Assist skilled tradesmen by operating basic construction tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, and levels.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to carpenters, masons, and electricians as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper waste disposal and site housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: Entry-level candidates are welcome; we value a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn over prior experience.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and team leads.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or overtime if necessary.
- Valid ID: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
