Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, digging, and setting up work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as directed.
- Keep work areas organized and free of debris at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required (willing to train).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be available for full-time work, including weekends if necessary.
