As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in various stages of construction, from preparation to cleanup, working alongside experienced professionals who are ready to teach you the trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Perform general cleanup of construction areas, including removing debris and waste.
- Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators.
- Dig trenches, pour concrete, and assist with foundation work under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and humidity.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform strenuous manual labor.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong safety-conscious mindset.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
