Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, concrete pouring, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, excavators, etc.) with proper certification
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise construction execution
- Maintain tool inventory and equipment daily with preventive maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, welders) as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed
