Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with concrete work, framing, and utility installations
- Maintain job site cleanliness, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Manage material inventory and coordinate deliveries
- Collaborate with night shift team to meet critical project deadlines
- Document daily progress and report safety concerns
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related field experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Flexibility to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
