Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, excavators) with proper safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications
- Perform site inspections and report maintenance needs or hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience operating hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and in diverse weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
