Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing under night supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, adhering to OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material handling
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard identification processes
- Complete accurate timecards and daily progress reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in low-light conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
