Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling under supervisor guidance
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment (forklifts, excavators) safely
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material staging
- Perform site cleanup and waste management procedures
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions for task execution
- Maintain equipment logs and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work 6 PM - 6 AM schedule with rotating weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
