Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 50 lbs), and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and follow OSHA compliance protocols
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to safety standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust)
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts including standing/walking
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible overnight schedules (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Memphis metro area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
