Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling duties
- Operate hand/power tools and light construction equipment safely
- Assist skilled trades with layout, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Complete daily site cleanup and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans
- Support concrete, masonry, and roofing operations
- Document work progress and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills and blueprint reading ability
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Flexible availability for overtime and weekend shifts
