Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete saws
- Install and remove safety barriers and job site signage
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily safety inspections
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors on project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
