Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation under night shift supervision
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently for demolition, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific hazard controls
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material staging, equipment setup, and cleanup operations
- Inspect completed work for quality compliance and report defects to site supervisors
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Participate in daily safety briefings and maintain clean, organized work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial/residential construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and during overnight hours
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, levels) and equipment knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites across metro Atlanta
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
