Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with specialized trade tasks
- Maintain job site cleanliness and implement OSHA-compliant safety measures
- Read blueprints and follow complex construction instructions
- Perform night-specific duties like concrete pours and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience operating heavy machinery (CPC/CDL preferred)
- Availability for consistent night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math and blueprint reading skills
