Responsibilities
- Execute general construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) with precision and safety
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with specialized tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow supervisors' instructions for project specifications
- Perform night shift-specific duties: concrete pours, equipment setups, and after-hours deliveries
- Contribute to daily progress meetings and documentation updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience or equivalent trade training
- OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shift operations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
- Preferable experience with concrete work or scaffolding setup
