Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and welders) with daily tasks.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery safely and correctly.
- Clean and prepare job sites, removing debris and maintaining a safe workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and measurements as directed by supervisors.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as project schedules dictate.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
