Responsibilities
- Assist in various construction tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting building materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools under direct supervision.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as drilling, sawing, and fastening.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and foremen to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- No prior construction experience required; training provided on-site.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials.
