Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and equipment accurately and safely.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and compactors (training provided).
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, excavate trenches, and prepare job sites for the day's work.
- Assist Trades: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with basic tasks and material transport.
- Quality Control: Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Reporting: Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; we train motivated candidates.
- Documentation: Valid Driver's License and proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Safety Mindset: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols is a plus.
