Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and setup.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) following all safety protocols.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in the erection of temporary structures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures is highly desirable.
