Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including framing, drywall, painting, and site preparation.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize the job site efficiently.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform physical labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform basic measurements and cutting as directed by the foreman or project manager.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior crew members.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
